Two short steps: your exam and what you need, then how to reach you. Free for you, no obligation; passmock itself does not teach.
What the exam itself costs, and what a failed attempt costs
The best reason to pay for help is the price of failing: each new attempt is a new registration, and for the NCLEX a wait of at least 45 days.
| Exam | Official fee | Retakes |
|---|---|---|
| ATI TEAS | $120 plus applicable sales tax at ATI (remote) or PSI (test center or remote); set by the school when you test at a school (ATI) | Each retake is a new registration at full price. ATI sets no waiting period; the number of attempts and any wait are set by each school (ATI) |
| HESI A2 | No public price from Elsevier: your program either pays or has students pay (Elsevier) | Version 1 for first-time testers, Version 2 for second-time testers; your program sets how often you may retest and which score counts |
| NCLEX-RN | $200 to Pearson VUE for U.S. licensure, non-refundable; $350 for registrations completed on or after Feb. 1, 2027; your board of nursing charges its own licensure fee (NCSBN) | At least 45 test-free days between attempts and up to eight attempts a year under NCSBN policy (some boards are stricter); each retake is a new registration and fee (NCSBN) |
Official prep material and its price
Compare any tutor or course with what the test owners publish themselves:
- TEAS: ATI's free online practice test has 60 questions, 15 per section, with explanations. On 14 October 2026 ATI's own prep packages ran from $69 to $199 on its TEAS prep page (details in our TEAS prep options compared).
- HESI A2: Elsevier publishes an official study book, the Admission Assessment Exam Review, 6th edition.
- NCLEX-RN: NCSBN's free Candidate Tutorial, sample pack and exam preview on NCLEX.com are the only official examples of the item formats, and NCSBN does not endorse any review course.
Tutors and course providers set their own prices: there is no official rate. Ask for the total price in writing.
Questions to ask a tutor or prep course before you pay
- Which version of the exam do you teach? The TEAS is now Version 7 (four sections, 170 questions); the NCLEX-RN follows the 2026 test plan, with clinical judgment case studies. Material written for older versions wastes your time.
- Where do your practice questions come from? Be wary of anyone selling "real" or "leaked" exam questions.
- How do you find what I need to work on? A diagnostic test at the start, then a plan by section, is a good sign. You can take our free TEAS, HESI A2 or NCLEX-RN practice test first and bring your weak sections to the first session.
- What exactly is included, and what if I stop? Number and length of sessions, materials, cancellation and refund terms, in writing.
- Do you promise a score? Nobody can: the TEAS cut score is set by each school, and the NCLEX result comes only from your board of nursing.
- Online or in person, and when? Online sessions are easier to fit around shifts or clinicals.
Check your school or board first
For the TEAS and HESI A2, the score you need and how often you may retest are set by each nursing program, so read its admission page before you choose how much help to buy. For the NCLEX-RN, your board of nursing decides on your license and may be stricter than NCSBN on retakes.
How the request works
- You choose your exam and what you need, then leave your contact details. Nothing is sent before you press "Send my request".
- Only if you tick the consent box, we pass your request to up to 3 partner tutors or prep course providers, who may contact you about it. Partners may pay passmock for an introduction; you pay nothing to us.
- passmock does not teach or sell courses itself, and we do not rate or guarantee partners: check them with the questions above before you agree to anything.
- You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to admin@tech-bharat.com. Details in our privacy policy.
