Who it is for
- Nurse aide students and graduates with a written (knowledge) exam date, in a state that uses the NNAAP (Credentia) or the Prometric written test
- Candidates who failed the written part and want to rebuild the areas listed on their score report
- Non-native English speakers who want the rules in short, plain English and a list of the medical words and abbreviations used in questions
- Instructors and study partners who want sourced explanations and practice questions organized by outline area
Who it is not for
- Anyone looking for a replacement for their nurse aide training course or their state handbook: you still need both
- Candidates who only need the hands-on skills test: the CNA Skills Exam Guide covers that, and this guide does not repeat the skill checklists
- Anyone looking for leaked test questions: the official question pool must stay secret under federal rules, and ours are original
Questions before you buy
Isn't the content outline free in my candidate handbook?
Yes. Your handbook lists the outline areas and a few sample questions for free, and you should read it. It does not explain them. This guide explains each area of the outline, gives the rules and normal values behind the questions with their sources, shows the traps, and adds a 10-day plan and 200 explained questions.
Which states does it cover?
It follows the 2024 NNAAP written outline used in Credentia states and puts the Florida Prometric outline next to it. The content comes from the federal nurse aide curriculum and federal rules, which every state's exam must cover, so it is useful in other states too, but the number of questions, the time and the passing rule differ: check your own state's handbook.
I already have the CNA Skills Exam Guide. Is this the same content?
No. The skills guide gives the step-by-step checklists for the hands-on test. This guide covers the written exam: rights, legal rules, communication, mental health, dying and grief, infection control, safety, normal values, medical words and 200 knowledge questions. It does not repeat the skill checklists.
Are these the questions from the official exam?
No. The exam questions come from a secret pool, and federal rules require it to stay secret. Our 200 questions are original, written from the official outline and public sources, and each answer explains why. They cannot predict your official result.
Is it a subscription?
No. It is a one-off payment for a PDF you keep. It opens on any phone, tablet or computer, and the logs can be printed.
